Welcome back, ANYTOWN Alumni

For 25+ years, NCCJ has held its ANYTOWN youth leadership and human relations institute in the beautiful mountains of western North Carolina. And for 25+ years, ANYTOWN has been a story of personal growth and leadership development. Our graduates leave ANYTOWN with a stronger sense of self and heightened sensitivity to the effects of bias, bigotry and racism in their schools and the community.

Do you remember what it was like when you came home from ANYTOWN – the friends you made, the tears you shed and your realization that while we are different, we are so much more than those simple differences? While time has flown by, we hope that you have continued to keep the ANYTOWN spirit alive in your workplace, school, home and heart.

Delegates at ANYTOWN 1996, Session IWe invite all of our alumni to reconnect with NCCJ and to re-engage in NCCJ’s mission and programs as volunteers and advocates when threats arise to the diversity and inclusiveness of our community.

We know that without the support and participation of our community, we could not have continued such a wonderful and life-changing program, and we are excited to re-engage our alumni in this important work.
