No Hate in Our Town Campaign

The recent National Socialist Movement (neo-Nazi) conference held in Greensboro, prompted NCCJ, the Greensboro Human Relations Commission, and dozens of community organizations and faith groups in our city, to call all citizens to reaffirm their absolute commitment to continuing our community's efforts to build a Greensboro free of bias, bigotry and racism.

Leaders asked all people to signify their commitment to building bridges of understanding by wearing a multicolored unity ribbon beginning that fateful weekend and signing a resolution declaring No Hate in Our Town.

The event celebrated the diversity of our community and was specifically geared to young leadership. Over 50 ANYTOWN graduates and NCCJ supporters attended a program that reaffirmed our community's commitment to building a future that promises inclusion and respect for all.Participants were given multi-color unity ribbons as they pledged to support the resolution against hate in our town.
