Operation Understanding 2010: Youth Interfaith Tour

Greensboro: February 21, 2010

Youth Interfaith Tour

Each year, NCCJ hosts Operation Understanding in Greensboro and High Point. Operation Understanding focuses on the Youth Interfaith Tour which allows youth (primarily middle and high school students) living in the Piedmont Triad Community to learn about the wide variety of faith traditions. Through Operation Understanding, youth develop a stronger appreciation and respect for different belief systems; therefore, youth are able to help us build bridges of understanding among diverse faith groups.

Through the Youth Interfaith Tour and other Interfaith programs, NCCJ seeks to promote understanding and respect among all cultures, races and religions.  To accommodate youth from both cities, each winter, we schedule the tour on different dates and visit different houses of worship.

The Youth Interfaith Tour in Greensboro was on Sunday, February 21, 2010. Thanks to our hosts and participants!
