Citation Award Dinner History

NCCJ Citation Award Honorees

Honoring Exceptional Leaders

Every year, NCCJ honors local leaders with the Brotherhood/Sisterhood Citation Award for their extraordinary efforts to combat bias, bigotry, and racism and create a more compassionate and respectful community for all of us – not just some of us.

Know someone who should be considered for the Citation Award? Please nominate them! We can’t honor someone who hasn’t been nominated. An NCCJ selection committee, including past honorees and board members, will convene in the spring to review all nominations and select this year’s honorees.

In 2023, we celebrated community leaders Mae Douglas and Dr. Patrick Harman
